Taking photos inside Vancouver Museum of Anthropology
One of the nice things about UBC's Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver, besides the extraordinary collection of artifacts and artwork, is their policy on photography. The museum allows visitors to take all of the personal photography desired.

I think this policy makes the museum lots more effective in achieving its goals:

Photo Op: Vancouver's Scariest Bridge
The Capilano Suspension Bridge is a bridge for walking across only and is a popular Vancouver tourist attraction. As you can see from the picture, the bridge is very high off the ground. Actually, the bridge is 230 feet (70m) above Capilano River. The bridge spans 450 feet (137m) across the river. This is not the place to go if you are afraid of heights!!
The Capilano Suspension Bridge is a good photo opportunity as there are many ways to photograph it. Try below, above, or while on it.

Seattle Sidetrip: The Public Market Center
A lot of travelers with enough vacation time do both Vancouver and Seattle in the same trip. That's what I did last time with a little less than a week spent in both. Having never been to Seattle, it was good to do. It has a distinct character from Vancouver.
Vancouver was more my style though. My vote is for Vancouver if I had to pick between the two. That's how Vancouver'd came to be. Still, Seattle has its neighborhoods and sites.
The Seattle Public Market Center is a big destination. It's a complex of unique stores at the market and the blocks surrounding.
Lots of produce, meat and all kinds of giftable things can be found in the market.
