Yum, Lizards and Eels!
Seeking to be an amateur Andrew Zimmerman, the "eater of all things that seem yucky"?
Vancouver's Chinatown is the place to achieve your goals. Just wander around the food stalls in Chinatown.
You may stumble upon some gecko lizards on a stick. Yum!
If that's not good enough for you, how about eating slippery eels?
Got a Cupcake Fetish?
Vancouver has the answer. Cupcakes of Vancouver is a specialty cupcake shop that makes cupcakes in so many varieties, choosing could take hours. Seriously, look at this photo.

And if that does not make you drool, this video of one of the Cupcakes of Vancouver shops will.
Strange Foods in Vancouver's Chinatown: What is it?
Have you ever seen these foods before?
Hint: These are from Vancouver's Chinatown, Canada's largest Chinatown and the second largest in North America after San Francisco. Visitors often spend the afternoon wandering around in the stores, visiting the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, and chosing from a variety of restaurants for lunch or dinner.
This is a "real Chinatown" as can be seen by the Chinese food signs in the local grocery shops. Half the fun is guessing what the foods are.
Take a look at these pictures to see the variety.
